Super Host, Super House

The Super house really needs a thorough clean, also needs comfortable seating in lounge and dining. Positive: Beds were comfortable. Negative: We were looking forward to our stay in your "Super House super host home" The photos looked amazing and we decided to splurge and book it for a family of 5 adults. Reality turned out to be something else entirely. We are all well over 70 and two of us have issues with mobility. We all found the couches were extremely uncomfortable with stained, sagging cushions. The dining room, having two benches with no back support was also not good. We needed to take the cane bench from the verandah so at least two of us could sit with back support. You cannot be deemed to be a four bedroom home with a single bed placed at the entrance of the front door. The middle bedroom didn't have enough room to place an open suitcase and in theory should have had a single bed in it instead of a double. The TV projecter was extremely unclear. At one stage the screen fell off the wall, very slow internet as well. The second bathroom had the shower in the bath tub but no handles to hold onto when stepping in or out of the bath, which we found very unsafe for everyone, the bath was also unclean The ensuit shower had mould. The cleanliness of the home left a lot to be desired. There was only one "stained" kitchen T.towel for us to use. There were no kitchen clothes either. There was a coffee machine but no instructions on how to use it. A super small box of green tea, no milk supplied and no other coffees or tea's. When my husband got on his knees to look for something he had dropped on the floor, which rolled slightly under the bed, he noticed broken glass (some of which he removed) Only one spare toilet roll and the one on the roll half empty on both toilets. Outside areas were very dirty, we didn't even want to sit out there. Back 'garden' is full of weeds. Definitely not inviting. Overall very disappointing, not what we were led to believe from the booking.com website. Can honestly say we could not recommend Super house, supper host.

Disappointed but good location Positive: Good location, living area space very good. The house is actually only 3 bedroom, a 4th bed is placed in the entrance hallway. It is not a bedroom. Negative: Falsely advertised as 4 bedrooms, see comments above. Had difficulty getting door code, had to send 2 messages asking for code & then was given the wrong code. Toilet paper provided (less than 1/2 roll each toilet) didn't even last through first night, messaged for more, advised some would be dropped off but never arrived.

The property did not present as per the description & images viewed at the time of booking. Negative: Communication was slow. In fact too slow at times. Description of number of rooms to beds was not precise. One bed was in a corridor. Cleanliness was not up to standard. Kitchen requirements at a minimum. Not even a tea towels could be found.

Great house and location j Positive: Location of the house is great. House was clean and well presented. Bedrooms all spacious and beds comfortable. Had a decent kitchen dining and lounge area and a BBQ outside. Negative: Needs more kitchen things. No bowls for serving food. No containers etc to mix. Lacking oven trays. Lacking in comforts of a house IE glad wrap Alfoil etc only 1 spare bin bag for 6 adults and 3 nights wasnt enough. Simple things that would make the stay just a little easier on the guests. Even stocking the pantry with more staples etc. Plenty of space to do it. So many empty drawers.

Positive: Spacious and comfortable Negative: Perhaps a better lounge suite as the current one a bit of eye sore
